Project Overview
The 28N Tower is rising in the heart of Downtown Pontiac and will soon stand as the tallest building in the city. Pontiac is in the middle of a major comeback, with new apartments, restaurants, and businesses transforming downtown into a vibrant hub again. The site itself couldn’t be better connected, sitting just off M-59 with quick access to I-75, Orchard Lake Road, Woodward Avenue, and Telegraph.
When it opens in Summer 2025, 28N will bring 99 market-rate loft apartments, four levels of retail and commercial space, a fitness center, rooftop lounge, and a large restaurant/venue space. It’s designed to set a new standard for modern living in Oakland County.

Project Challenges
Safety and code compliance: As Pontiac’s tallest building, meeting fire-rated door and material requirements was critical.
Mixed-use demands: Retail, residential, and hospitality each require different levels of durability, acoustic control, and finishes.
Downtown expectations: The project needed to fit Pontiac’s revitalization vision while still offering modern, attractive interiors for today’s tenants.
Timeline: With an opening date locked for Summer 2025, every product had to be delivered and installed on a tight schedule.

To support the project team, we provided a full package of doors, cabinetry, and interior finish solutions designed for long-term performance and quick installation:
Entry safety: Fire-rated entry doors that meet Michigan code requirements while giving residents a secure, modern welcome.
Interior finish package: Custom interior wood doors, bathroom bases, and SMC wall panels that balance durability with design.
Kitchens & storage: Coordinated supply of island lighting, cabinets, and vanities to deliver a clean, consistent look throughout units.
Lighting & flooring: Energy-efficient downlights and durable flooring to elevate apartment interiors and reduce long-term maintenance.
On-time delivery: Products were planned and scheduled to match the construction timeline, helping the project stay on track for its Summer 2025 launch
