Unitized curtain wall refers to a building curtain wall that is made into a complete basic unit of curtain wall structure in the factory by various wall panels and supporting frames, and is directly installed on the main structure.

The unitized curtain wall can be mainly divided into unitized curtain wall and semi-unitized curtain wall, also known as rigid unitized curtain wall.

The unitized curtain wall is the outer wall of the building. It is not load-bearing and hangs like a curtain, so it is also called a hanging wall. It is a lightweight wall with decorative effects commonly used in modern large and high-rise buildings. The building envelope is composed of a structural frame and inlaid panels, and does not bear the load and effect of the main structure.
