Challenges

1-Safety Concerns: With the large folding panels in both the TB75 and TB68 door systems, ensuring safety—especially preventing hand pinching during operation—was a priority.

2-Long-Term Durability: Given the heavy use expected in a luxury home with high foot traffic, ensuring the folding doors would stay secure and not drop over time was a key concern.

3-Ease of Use: The client wanted a system that could be easily operated, with a simple, one-touch function to open and close the doors without struggle.

Solutions

To meet these challenges, we incorporated high-quality, German-engineered KSBG hardware, known for its reliability and precision:

1-Safety Features: We designed the TB75 and TB68 folding doors with anti-pinch safety technology. The KSBG soft-close mechanisms prevent any accidental finger injuries, ensuring the doors close smoothly and safely. Additionally, KSBG’s precision hinges provide smooth and quiet operation, eliminating the risk of pinched fingers.

2-Durability and Security: To address the concern of the door panels potentially dropping, we integrated anti-fall security mechanisms. The stainless-steel tracks and high-strength locking mechanisms from KSBG ensure that the panels stay securely in place, even under frequent use, making these doors both durable and safe.

3-User-Friendly Operation: The one-touch operation system was developed to give the client a simple and convenient way to open and close the folding doors. Thanks to the KSBG rollers and tracks, the doors glide effortlessly with just a push, making them ideal for everyday use. Whether it's a quiet evening or a party, these doors offer hassle-free operation with minimal effort.

Additionally, the TB76 fixed windows were designed with easy installation in mind, addressing the client's need for both a modern aesthetic and practical performance. The narrow-edge frames not only provide a sleek look but also contribute to superior energy efficiency. The double-glazed Low-E glass keeps the home insulated from extreme temperatures, making it energy-efficient and comfortable year-round.
